Three Ring Portuguese French Link
The Three Ring Portuguese French Link bit has a single flat joint attached to a large loose ring [with one small ring attached to the top and two small rings attached to the bottom of the large loose ring]. This bit contains two joints in the middle section of the bit. The middle joined piece is a flat, peanut shaped link. The double joint reduces the nutcracker action encouraging relaxation of the horse. The peanut is also more palatable for horses with a narrow mouth or large tongue.
